The CAREgivers by Active Generations is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of a diverse mix of professionals works with medical clinics, senior centers, hospitals, nursing services, health networks, health departments, and community organizations and their members.
We train, implement and support evidence-based programs throughout the state. Additionally we offer assistance, resources, education and support to family caregivers.
CAREgivers introduced a statewide, centrally managed system that assists community professionals in training and implementing standardized, evidence-based and best practice programs.
The CAREgivers network is served by:
- Compiling and maintaining data and trainer availability and certification
- Creating partnerships for project and resource identification and collaboration, including sustainability
- Providing centralized oversight, licensing, training support, fidelity and marketing to community leaders. This allows for successful standardized implementation of evidence-based programs
- Developing policies and procedures for training and implementation of the program including fidelity and quality assurance guidelines that adhere to the model
CAREgivers is also engaging in conversations on the national, state, and local level that are changing active aging and wellness in America.
